We are planning to reopen 'Culmington Manor and Norfolk Lakes' on the 17th May 2021.

We await the go ahead from the Scottish and Welsh Governments as regards the reopening of Lockerbie Manor and Abernant Lake, we are assuming both will reopen for the 2021/22 academic year.

All centres will operate in line with relevant Covid-19 guidelines and regulations in place at the time.

The Department for Education advice changed on 26th March 2021 as long as step 3 of the roadmap remains on schedule. See link www.gov.uk

  • From 17th May 2021 schools can undertake domestic residential trips that are already booked. Our team will be contacting all schools who currently have bookings over the summer term.
  • Schools can start planning future trips but are advised not to enter into any financial or contractual commitments at this time. We strongly advise schools to reserve their dates, without any contractual commitment, as soon as possible, as availability for 2021 and 2022 is very limited due to schools transferring bookings made in 2020.
  • Travel insurance cover. The Government are currently looking at the process of providing an indemnity that will:
*give schools cover against Covid-19 travel cancellations in the future
*allow schools to book new visits with confidence
We await further advice as regards the reopening of our French Chateaux
